Acura Integra review

Acura Integra reviewExcept Integra, performance-oriented cars usually don't incorporate durability. Not just a fun car to drive, the Integra will give you a trouble-free ownership experience. With its, Type R version, it will surely introduce you to the world of racing. This section will give a short overview about the driving impressions, performance and features of Acura Integra's Type R edition, Integra GS-R, Integra LS, 1994 Acura Integra, 1990 Acura Integra, 1992 Acura Integra, 1995 Acura Integra, 1993 Acura Integra, 1991 Acura Integra and 1989 Acura Integra.

The second generation Integra comes anew with its new chassis, a double wishbone 4-wheel independent suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes and a new engine. The standard engine for the Acura Integra is a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder that generates 140 horsepower. This engine has a high revving VTEC version that cranks out 170 horsepower, utilized in GS-R models. It uses premium fuel and is attached to a special close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission.

Both engines have an average fuel consumption of 9.6 liter/100 km in the city and 7-liter/100 km on the highway. The available automatic transmission possess a grade-logic control system that helps avoid the 3-4 gear shift dance while driving on the moderate uphill section of the pavement. Acura Integra maintains its sporty character without being harsh. In racing, Integra may tend toward understeer but lifting off the throttle or trail braking into tight corners can control it. Through this, grip can be transported to the front tires and permits the rear end to rotate outward. The suspension hits an ideal combination between power assist and ample road feel.
