The second generation Integra comes anew with its new chassis, a double wishbone 4-wheel independent suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes and a new engine. It uses premium fuel and is attached to a special close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission.

Both engines have an average fuel consumption of 9.6 liter/100 km in the city and 7-liter/100 km on the highway. The available automatic transmission possess a grade-logic control system that helps avoid the 3-4 gear shift dance while driving on the moderate uphill section of the pavement.
