Acura Integra racing

Auto racing has gained popularity and has been one of the most-watched sport.
It doesn't only bring thrill and excitement to the drivers but also to the numerous
spectators. For this reason, racing school has also become popular. It offers
thrilling and unique classes that teach you different styles of driving.
But racing activity will not be established without racing cars. So Acura made
a way to be accepted in the racing world. With the introduction of the limited
edition Type R, Acura proved that they already know a quick way around a racetrack's
hairpins. This car demonstrate that what's good for a race car may not always
be good for cars used in everyday living.
Powering this race-ready vehicle is a 195-horsepower four-cylinder engine displacing
1.8-liters and having four valves per cylinder and dual overhead cams. It is also
equipped with Honda's Variable Valve Timing and Variable Lift Electronic Control.
It has a different and grabby clutch to match the additional engine power. It
comes lower and lighter with chin spoilers and rear-deck spoilers installed above
the trunk lid.

On a race track, the Acura Integra may tend toward understeer but can easily be controlled by lifting off the throttle
or trail-braking into tight corners so that grip can be transferred to the front
tires and let the rear end rotate outward. Integra yields superior ride quality
with its firm suspension.
The Type R boasts its deep, racing style bucket seats and its leather-wrapped
steering wheel and shift knobs. It has a special ignition key and an exclusive
analog instrumentation. The Type R surely attracts attention but why should you
purchase it, if you weren't planning to race it? It is offered in prices justified
by additional performance so if you're infatuated, you'd better get in line.
