1997 Acura Integra

The 1997 Acura Integra cars are very dependable, fast and nimble with a great
gas mileage. It comes in two body trims ? the coupe and the sedan. The Coupe trim
is consisting of RS coupe, LS coupe, GS coupe, GS-R Coupe and the top of the line
Type R while the sedan trim includes the LS sedan, the GS sedan and the GS-R sedan.
The RS, LS and GS coupes and the LS and GS sedans are powered by a 1.8-liter
engine that breathes 140 horsepower while the 1.8L engine of GS-R coupe and sedan
generates 170 horsepower. The lighter Type R receives a more powerful 195-hp four-cylinder
engine displacing 1.8 liters. These engines are attached to the standard 5-Speed
manual overdrive. The RS coupe and the LS and GS coupes and sedans are offered
with an optional 4-speed automatic overdrive.
Standard in all sedan trims are sunroof, air conditioning, power windows, tachometer,
rear window defogger, power door locks, tilt steering, manual sunroof, CD player,
driver and passenger airbags and ABS brakes. On the coupe trim, all models except
RS and Type R have standard air conditioning and cruise control. Like sedans,
all coupes have tachometer, tilt steering, CD player, power windows and rear window
defogger.
The 1997 Acura Integra Type R is lower and lighter with a rear-deck spoiler installed
on the top of the trunk lid.
It is a two-door hatchback Integra packed with firmer and high-performing suspension.
When you get inside, you'll surely be overwhelmed by the deep, racing-style bucket
seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob; an analog instrumentation
and a "special" ignition key. The GS-R Coupe has a very excellent gas mileage
ranging from 30-35 mpg. It is smooth, sure footed and performs well on curvy roads.
