1994 Acura Integra
The 1994 model year was known a new styling for the launching of a new Acura
Integra high performance trim. Each Integra provides something more in performance
and handling, presenting the advantages of thoughtful, original engineering and
careful design. Major exterior modifications include the unique front end with
four projector type headlights and a sheetmetal that receives a lower drag and
a more aerodynamic look.
The standard engine under the Integra's hood gained 2 more horsepower. The high-performance
GS-R trim is outfitted with a new powerful engine, a 170 bhp version of the 1.8
liter 14 engine. In the US market, this engine cranks out the highest output per
liter compared to other normally aspirated engine because it utilizes Acura's
VTEC system.
Looking at any angle, Integra appears clean and functional with seamlessly flowing
lines that rise moderately as they extend from nose to tail. GS-R's soft-wedge
look is made even more stylish, mild and quite eye-catching with the addition
of the rear wing. The four projector-beam headlights are excellent enough in doing
its job of illuminating the road ahead.
The interior of Acura Integra is also functional and well designed with deeply
bolstered front seats to keep the occupants in place and independent folding backrest
for each half of the rear seat. The Special Edition Integra is offered with standard
leather seats that are optional in the GS-R coupes and sedans. The instrument
pod and the airbag are housed in Integra's generous dashboard. Found in the instrument
pod are the dials for speed, rpm, engine temperature and fuel level. The controls
for windows, lights and wipers are situated within easy reach.
This year's Acura dish up different purposes packed with almost all the standard
equipment a buyer could wish for. From Integra's mini-limo to spirited playmobile,
the combination of style, pleasure and functionality can be observed. And each
model is assembled with quality standard that has more to do with pride than price.
