1992 Acura Integra

For 1992 model year, the Acura Integra received minor modifications but the highlight
for this year was the introduction of the new high performance trim, the GS-R.
Other Integra models gained 10 additional horsepower while GS-R is offered with
a 1.7 14 with VTEC technology. It has 8000 rpm redline and puts out 160 bhp.
The '92 front-wheel drive Acura is equipped with five-speed manual transmission.
Safety features include automatic seat belts and four-wheel disc brakes with available
anti-lock. The cargo room for the 2-door Integra measures 16 cubic feet while
the 4-door has 11 cubic feet.
This year's Integras have an EPA mileage of 25 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. Except
for the additional horsepower, other modifications include the changes in Integra's
front and rear and the torque that had been increased to help the engine pull
better uphill. The 16 valves are still offered to deliver fast acceleration. Changes
are not only noticeable in Integra's exterior, it can also be observed in the
interior. The 1992 Integra comes with new gauge faces with visible and comprehensible
numerals.
